Southland's Story Workshop - 12th Dec 2018

t’s time to write Southland’s story, the story of our past, present and desired future. We are a big and diverse place, with plenty of pride, and we need to distill what makes our region unique. This will help us share our love of Southland as a great place to live, visit, invest, work and study.

We’d like your help to do this. So whether you’re from Waikiwi, Waikawa, Waianiwa or Waikaia we want you to share your thoughts. You’re invited to a community workshop to discuss what it means to be a Southlander and help create a unified story we can all be proud to share with the rest of the world.

A full overview of the process, including the opportunity to participate in a combined follow up session in the New Year will be provided at the meeting.

It is essential that locals contribute to, embrace and share this story, and therefore a number of community consultation two-hour workshops have been scheduled in Te Anau, Riverton, Winton, Invercargill and Gore over the coming month to help establish the story.

WINTON : WEDNESDAY 12TH DECEMBER 10AM - NOON. SALVATION ARMY HALL
