Winton's Spring Flower Show
Amazing displays or Spring Flowers, thousands of daffodils, Floral Art and Childrens spring art and craft displays/competitions. Special guest art exhibitors featuring Bonsai display and funky metal garden art. Morning and Afternoon teas available $3. Plant stalls, raffles and much more. Quilts and Cake
Memorial Hall, Meldrum Street, Winton
Labour Weekend, Friday 25th till Sunday 27th of October.
10am till 4pm.
Admission is $5 which includes tea or coffee and cake.
We are a group of 17 passionate patchworkers displaying our year's work. We will also have on display the Colours Of Spring quilts from Aotearoa Quilters, the National Body that supports all quilters. This was a challenge to produce a 12inch-by-12inch square quilt depicting the colours of spring. Entries came from Aotearoa Quilters members and non-members from all over New Zealand. We are very privileged to have these quilts on display, probably the only place in Southland or Otago they will be shown.
We have several merchants participating this year, including Sewing With Passion/Bernina, Inverquilt from Invercargill, The Quirky Stitch, Heather Greaves from Nightcaps and Kayceecrafts.
We have a beautiful quilt to raffle, along with 2 hampers for 2nd and 3rd prize. Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5.

Winton's Annual Open Day with shops opening from 10am along with markets, crafts & produce market on the streets and in the hall.
Entertainment, live music, Santa, street stalls, displays, kids entertainment, street parade and much more.
