Winton Area Promotions

The Winton Area Promotion group was formed many years ago following the Winton concept plan development. 

The group was firstly tasked to provide signage for the town at each of the entrances. Since then this small passionate group of locals have been responsible for the Heritage Trail development, the annual Produce & Craft Market held on Winton's Open Day, the amazingly successful Winton wide Garage Sale Day, the purchasing and displaying of Christmas ...flags within the township, water tower lights, production of the info pads for businesses and Winton brochures which are distributed Southland wide to encourage visitors just to name a few projects. 

We also work with other community groups and in conjunction with the Business Assoc and Community Board provided funding for the "Events On" signs at the North and South entrances of the town and the Community noticeboard.

We meet once a month and warmly welcome new members and new ideas.
