Winton Area Photo and Video Competition Results - 1st Apr 2022

Congratulations to all those who entered the Winton Photo and Video Competition and thanks to the panel of judges: Rob Scott (Canvart), Robyn Edie (Southland Times Chief Photographer) and Ole Hanson (Canon NZ) for helping pick the winners. It was a tough job picking the winner from the 170 photos entered.

Photo Competition Winner: Nikitta Potter was very excited to receive her new Canon EOS 90D DSLR Camera and Lens (retailed at $2,449) for her winning photo of the Oreti River. 

Best Video Winner: Connor for his "Attenborough's" nature documentary about the Kiwi of Ivy Russell Reserve - Winton Kindy. Connor won a Rode Video Mic thanks to The Rock Shop, valued at $370 

2nd Place: Anita Hayman  Talent-Ted paints a shed" Makarewa, won a Canvas print from Canvart
3rd Place: Prince "Main Street" Winton
High School Winner: Charlie Diack “Fleet of Green” South Hillend won a Manfrotto Camera bag

Primary School Winner: Mackenzie Vaughan (Limehills) "We didn't realize we were making memories, we just knew we were having fun." Pooh Bear, Winton Track, won a 10" Digital Photo Frame

Pre-School Winner: Timo Frazer “World Famous Winton Cream Buns”, Winton, won a 10" Digitial Photo Frame

Peoples Choice: Claire Burgess “Early Starts” South Hillend, won a Canvas print from Canvart

High Recommended: Carolyn Bailey  Guinea Pig Winton Show 
and Melissa Shuttleworth  “Daffys” Winton Walking Track
